Terms of Service

1. What AutoApply does

AutoApply is a job application assistant service. It finds job listings that match your preferences and generates tailored CVs and cover letters based on your uploaded CV for you to download and use when submitting applications on company sites.

You remain responsible for all job applications. AutoApply provides the tailored documents, and you submit them yourself.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the jurisdictions you are applying to. By using AutoApply you confirm that you meet these requirements.

AutoApply is intended for individual job seekers. Use of the service to generate applications on behalf of third parties without their explicit consent is not permitted.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at hello@autoapply.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account where you failed to notify us promptly.

You must provide accurate information when registering. Accounts created with false information may be suspended.

4. Your CV and content

You retain ownership of your CV and any other content you upload to AutoApply. By uploading your CV you grant us a limited licence to process and use that content solely to provide the service: generating tailored CVs and cover letters for you to download and use.

You confirm that your CV and any information you provide is accurate, that it is your own work, and that you have the right to use it. Submitting false, misleading, or plagiarised content to employers is a breach of these Terms and may result in account suspension.

We do not share your CV or personal information with employers directly. Tailored content is generated for your personal use within the service.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use AutoApply to generate spam, mass unsolicited applications, or applications you have no genuine interest in
• Use the service in any way that violates the terms of job boards or employers whose listings you apply to
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service
• Use automated means to access the service outside of its intended functionality
• Submit applications containing false qualifications, fabricated work history, or misleading information
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service or use it in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.

6. Subscription and billing

AutoApply offers a free Watcher tier and a paid Pro subscription. Subscription fees are charged monthly through our payment processor.

Watcher tier: Free forever. You can browse job matches and track your applications, but CV and cover letter generation is locked.

Pro subscription: £19 per month. Includes 60 tailored CVs and 60 cover letters per month. Resets on the 1st of each calendar month. Renews automatically each month until cancelled.

Boost add-on: £10 one-time purchase for an additional 20 tailored CVs and 20 cover letters. Add-on credits never expire and are consumed after your monthly allocation runs out.

Free trial: New users receive a 14-day free trial of Pro. No credit card is required. At the end of the trial, your account automatically drops to the Watcher tier unless you subscribe.

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until then.

7. Refunds

Subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at hello@autoapply.uk within 14 days of the charge.

Add-on credit purchases are non-refundable once the credits have been used. Unused credits may be refunded at our discretion within 14 days of purchase. Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, services must be provided with reasonable care and skill; if they are not, you may be entitled to a remedy. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep AutoApply available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or experience downtime beyond our control.

We are not liable for any loss resulting from service unavailability, including missed application deadlines.

9. Limitation of liability

AutoApply is a tool that assists your job search. We make no guarantees about the outcome of any application you submit, including interview invitations, employment offers, or any other result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for:

• Decisions made by employers in response to applications you submit
• Loss of earnings, missed opportunities, or indirect losses of any kind
• Errors in AI-generated CV or cover letter content that you did not review before using
• Any damage caused by unauthorised access to your account where reasonable security measures were in place

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

10. Intellectual property

AutoApply and its underlying systems, workflows, and software remain our intellectual property. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the service itself. The tailored CV and cover letter content we generate is produced from your own CV and information and belongs to you - we claim no ownership over the documents generated for your use.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account. Deletion permanently removes your data from our systems subject to any legal retention obligations (see our Privacy Policy).

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, abuse the service, or if continued operation creates legal or technical risk. Where possible we will notify you before termination and give you an opportunity to remedy the breach.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not accept updated Terms, you may delete your account before the changes take effect.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
